Your Mission
Infinity Ward is currently looking for an Associate Artist I (Temporary).
Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
- Create tiling environment materials that adhere to photorealism, regardless of technique used
- Ability to produce all necessary textures to create a tiling material (albedo, normal, spec, gloss, etc.)
- Take direction from Art Director and Leads when creating material assets
- Work closely with the Environment Artists to create materials that fit their needs
- Utilize good judgement when establishing optimal texture resolution
Player Profile
Minimum Requirements:
- Solid understanding of Physically Based Rendering (PBR) workflow
- Experience with Photogrammetry or basic understanding a plus
- Strong sense of composition and an ability to understand the difference between high, medium, and low frequency details
- Comfortable working in Substance Designer, Substance Painter, Adobe Photoshop and Zbrush.
- Knowledge of a 3D modeling software (Maya, Max, etc.)
- Basic modeling and UV layout skills
- Understand how to bake from High Poly to Low poly
